Dr. Phu Vo is a foot and ankle specialist who exhibits the three C’s of quality patient care - concern, compassion and congeniality. And with his expertise, he knows just how to help keep his patients moving and living as independently as possible. “Certain health conditions can affect the feeling and functionality in the ankles and feet,” says Dr. Vo. “My goal is to help patients avoid new or worsening problems so these vital body structures can continue to carry them through a fulfilling life.”

From a young age, Dr. Cora Sharfman “aspired to be a catalyst of change, hope, and comfort.” She loves caring for her senior patients and vows to always advocate for them. “I love more than anything having the privilege of becoming a part of my patients’ lives and getting to know them and their family members,” she says. She believes in a holistic approach to healthcare. “It is my personal mission to keep each of my patients in the best health, on the fewest amount of medications, as active as possible, and out of the hospital,” she says. In her free time, Dr. Sharfman enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She loves the ocean, often advocating for its conservation. She hopes to one day go ice-diving in Antarctica.

Dr. Ahmad Elghoroury chose a career in medicine to help make a difference in the lives of others. “Family medicine allowed me to keep working with patients for the long term,” he explains. He finds it rewarding to assist the senior population in managing their health. “Helping patients and continually learning new things” is his favorite part of his profession. If he could change anything about the current healthcare system, he would focus on improving health, increasing access, and prioritizing patients. He aims to create a comfortable environment for his patients that encourages open communication. In his free time, Dr. Elghoroury enjoys golfing, hiking, and snowboarding. He also loves spending time with his friends and family.

Dr. Andrew Barr grew “fascinated by the workings of the human body” after receiving an anatomy coloring book as a child. His favorite part of his profession is “providing outstanding healthcare with a personal touch.” He actively listens to patients and always treats them with “dignity and respect.” He adds, “I enjoy guiding seniors to better health, so they can enjoy time with their families and pursue the life they want.” In his down time, Dr. Barr enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family. He is also a Grand Prix motorcycle racing fanatic. Dr. Barr comes from a family with a military background. Throughout and following his time in medical school, he served in numerous positions across the globe with the US Army.

Jordan Boynton’s favorite part of being a family nurse practitioner is “seeing people improve their quality of life, including their overall health as well as their functional abilities.” He believes that “building relationships improves overall health outcomes,” and considers strong communication to be key in developing relationships. “I strive to keep you informed on your healthcare, and I will always be honest with you,” he explains. If he could change anything about healthcare today, he would increase access for underserved populations. When not caring for patients, Jordan Boynton can be found playing tennis, bicycling, or watching movies. He also enjoys editing photos and videos in photoshop.
