  Annie Janise

  MD

  Dr. Annie Janise is passionate about primary and preventative care. “Knowing how the human body is supposed to work and using my education to figure out how to keep it working that way is incredibly rewarding,” she says. Dr. Janise takes pride in truly getting to know each patient. “If doctors can understand the patients’ circumstances and goals, they can better help them reach those goals,” she explains. Dr. Janise loves helping the seniors in her community “obtain high quality health care with the respect and dignity they deserve.” When not with patients, Dr. Janise can be found spending time with her family or cheering on the Houston Astros. She also enjoys practicing yoga, riding her bicycle, and playing the flute.

  Jose Alejandro Rodriguez Reyes

  APRN-RN

  Having grown up around healthcare professionals, Jose Alejandro Rodrigues Reyes explains that the “firsthand look at the difference they make everyday” led him to pursue a career in medicine. He enjoys caring for the senior population and vows to “contribute to enhancing their well-being and independence.” He likes involving patients in decision-making and always treats people with empathy and dignity. “I’m here to support, guide, and walk beside them, not just treat their symptoms […] My goal is to make each person feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for,” he says. Jose is deeply family-oriented and loves spending his free time with loved ones. He also enjoys reading, learning new things, and staying active through sports.

  Emmanuel Terhemba Kajoh

  DNP, MSN, MPH, APRN, FNP

  “The strong desire to alleviate suffering, improve health and support people during vulnerable times” led Emmanual Terhemba Kajoh to a career in healthcare. He is committed to “helping the most vulnerable,” adding that “caring for seniors provides the rewarding opportunity to significantly improve the lives patients and their families.” He strives to build genuine connections with patients through empathy and effective communication. “I ensure that they are heard and participate in their care,” he says. He is also strong in his faith in God and will often use his words to provide comfort. In his free time, Emmanuel loves watching sports, especially soccer and lawn tennis. He also enjoys cooking, exercising, and watching movies.
