  Amir Goldenberg

  MD

  Specializing in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, Dr. Amir Goldenberg strives to provide the best possible care. He considers himself a “health advocate” and loves working with the senior population. “I believe it is important to know what your patient’s goals and values are and what they want to achieve in order to work together toward that goal,” he says. Dr. Goldenberg takes pride in both celebrating his patients’ successes and supporting them during difficult times. When not with patients, he loves exploring new places and spending time with his family, including several pets. Dr. Goldenberg was born and raised in Peru and has since lived across the United States. One day, he hopes to travel to China, Japan, and India.

  Syed Jaffery

  MD

  Dr. Syed Jaffery has been a lifelong caretaker for his younger brother. “It motivated me to serve a higher purpose in life, and for me, it was to become a physician,” he says. His favorite part of his profession is serving God through helping others. He strives to help patients understand their diseases and treatments “by taking the time to discuss their diagnoses and medications in detail.” He appreciates the opportunity to learn from colleagues in different fields and actively seeks information about the latest medical advancements. “I only want what is best for all of my patients,” he says. Outside of work, Dr. Jaffery loves playing with his children. He also enjoys practicing piano, playing video games, and doing home remodeling.

  Kevin Chavez

  Dr. Kevin Chavez explains that it was his “longtime interest in biochemistry and helping others” that led him to work in healthcare. “I enjoy getting to know patients and their families on a deep, personal level and the feeling of satisfaction that comes from knowing I can help them lead longer, healthier lives,” he says. In his practice, he emphasizes the importance of preventative care and lifestyle changes. He feels gratitude for all that the senior population has done for society. “I want to enhance their quality of life as a show of appreciation,” he says. When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Chavez loves spending quality time with his wife, son, and daughter. He also enjoys watching sports and going to the movies.

  Dr. Muhammad Kashif Minhaj was inspired by his grandparents to pursue a career in healthcare. He explains, “Seeing the impact that kind, attentive doctors had on their health showed me that medicine is as much about compassion as it is about science.” He adds, “I believe healthcare should feel personal, compassionate, and collaborative.” He wants patients “to feel supported as a whole person,” not just as a patient. “I believe trust grows when patients feel heard and respected, so I focus on open conersations and clear explanations,” he says. Kashif deeply values family and can be found spending his free time with his wife, daughters, and dog. They especially like enjoying the outdoors, traveling, and trying new foods.
