Benito Marrufo, MD, attended Baylor College of Medicine earning his medical degree in 1996. He remained at Baylor College of Medicine to complete his Internal Medicine residency and fellowship. He then joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic as an Internist in 1999, relocating briefly to San Antonio in 2005 and then returning to Kelsey-Seybold in 2006. As someone who wanted to be a physician since childhood, Dr. Marrufo truly enjoys providing holistic, comprehensive care for his patients. In addition to preventive care, he specializes in treating and managing conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, and more. In his free time, he loves to exercise, especially jogging, and listening to all genres of music.
