  Bob Karlseng

  Co-Founder & CEO

  Bob has 22 years of experience in the title industry. After his graduation from Loyola University, School of Law, Bob began his career in the title industry by working as a fee attorney. In 2013, Bob co-founded Texas Title with Claude Rich. Early in his title career, he co-hosted a weekend real-estate radio show where he discussed the many aspects of the title and real estate industries. He and Claude currently co-host their own podcast called Title Talk, where they discuss various topics with local business leaders. He lives in Dallas with his wife Catherine and his two sons, Thomas and Christian. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching his sons play sports.

  Claude Rich

  Co-Founder & EVP

  Claude Rich co-founded Texas Title in 2013 with Bob Karlseng, a venture long in the making. Prior to starting Texas Title, Claude learned the title business as a fee attorney for various agents, including Capital Title of Texas. His experience ranges from providing real estate advice to corporate formation and counseling clients on how to best establish their businesses. He does not shy away from helping employees succeed in their duties, which includes shipping the occasional file. He is also responsible for overseeing Texas Title’s operations, provides continuing education through Texas Title University, recruiting, and company expansion. Recently, he has taken an interest in cyber-security and continuing his education in matters that affect the real estate industry. Claude meets with realtors and brokers on a monthly basis, teaching them what to look out for and relaying new trends affecting the industry. He is also an active member of Texas State Bar and attends other various continuing education seminars on a regular basis. Claude believes that customer experience is the most important part of a transaction. With this in mind, he takes pride in Texas Title’s employees who go above and beyond their duties to insure the customer experience is always of primary importance. Claude and his wife Catia live in Dallas, and he enjoys spending time with his children on weekends and watching them play various sports. While not working, Claude enjoys playing the occasional round of golf and is currently training for a half-triathlon.

  Chris Drumm

  President

  Chris has 15 years of experience in the title industry. He began his career in mortgage origination with Colonial Savings in Fort Worth, Texas. He then served as SVP/Managing Partner of a Texas-based title agency before joining Texas Title in 2017. Chris works closely alongside co-founders Bob Karlseng and Claude Rich in overseeing company growth, operations, recruiting, and strategic planning initiatives. He and his wife Samantha live in Fort Worth, Texas with their two children, Benjamin and Leighton. In his free time, Chris enjoys golfing and spending time outdoors with his family.

  Alana Sinder

  VP of Operations

  Alana has 17 years of experience in the title industry. She began her career as an Escrow Officer for Bob Karlseng’s fee attorney office. When Bob and Claude made the decision to launch Texas Title, she moved into an escrow accounting and HR role. From there she has worked her way to Vice President of Operations. Alana is passionate about making sure all Texas Title staff needs are met so they can focus on their jobs and what makes them great. She strives to make Texas Title a place they call home. Alana lives in Dallas with her two dogs, Dunn and Duke, and is the proud mother of sons, Campbell and William. In her free time, she enjoys attending performances at the Dallas Theater Center and gardening.

  Nancy Schriedel, J.D., LL.M.

  Chief Compliance & Legal Officer

  Nancy Schriedel started her career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 1996 in its State and Local Tax (SALT) Practice and later joined the Mortgage Banking section of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld in Dallas, Texas. In 2001, she founded a Consumer Financial Services law firm supporting National Mortgage Lenders, and closing Texas residential and commercial sale/purchase transactions as a Fee Attorney. From 2009 to 2017, Nancy served in various legal and compliance roles for National Title Insurance Agencies doing business in Texas. Most recently, Nancy has worked in Consumer Finance as Director of Compliance Risk for Capital One and Santander Consumer USA. Nancy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University, a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley, Western Michigan University, and an LL.M. in Tax Law from Georgetown University Law Center.
