    Dr. Alfonso E. Aldama-Luebbert is a board certified neurosurgeon licensed in the state of Texas. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico. He is bilingual in English and Spanish. He attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He then attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his residencies in general surgery and neurological surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. Following his residencies, Dr. Aldama started his medical practice with the Neurosurgical Group of Houston in 1980 now known as Neurosurgical Group of Texas. He is a well established neurosurgeon in the Texas Medical Center who has built a reputation of delivering quality care with great outcomes. Due to his extensive experience in treating neurosurgical conditions, patients from all over the world seek care from Dr. Aldama due to his expertise. Dr. Aldama is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine, where he is actively involved in the training of neurosurgery residents.     Dr. Richard L. Harper is a board certified neurosurgeon licensed in the state of Texas. He was born in Washington, D.C. He attended the University of Texas in Austin, Texas where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor society and he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston graduating with honors. Following his graduation from medical school he completed an internship in general surgery with Baylor’s affliated program. He then served in active duty as a lieutentnat in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps. Upon completion of military duty Dr. Harper returned to Baylor College of Medicine for his residency in neurosurgery. Dr. Harper started his medical practice with the Neurosurgical Group of Houston in 1978 now known as Neurosurgical Group of Texas. He is a well established neurosurgeon in the Texas Medical Center who has built a reputation of great expertise in complex spine and brain conditions. He treats a broad spectrum of patients from local to international dignitaries and heads of state. Dr. Harper serves as Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine, where he is actively involved in the training of neurosurgery residents. He is also is chairman of numerous hospital staff committees.

  • Dr. Andrew C. Roeser

    Dr. Andrew C. Roeser is a board certified neurosurgeon licensed in the state of Texas. He is a native Texan who was born in Galveston, Texas. He attended the University of Texas in Austin majoring in business finance and was recognized on the Dean’s List each year until graduation. He then attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where he graduated with high honors. Following graduation he completed an internship in surgery and a neurosurgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine. He served as chief resident at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Baylor St. Luke’s Hospital, and Ben Taub General Hospital. He then completed advance training with his minimally invasive and complex spine surgery fellowship at the University of California School of Medicine in San Francisco, California in the department of neurosurgery.     Dr. Taylor L. Gist is a board certified neurosurgeon licensed in the state of Texas. He is a native Texan who was born in Irving and raised in Southlake, a suburb of the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro-plex. Dr. Gist attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas on an academic scholarship where he was selected into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He then completed his medical school training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School where he was selected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. Dr. Gist completed neurosurgery residency at Houston Methodist Hospital where he was trained extensively over seven years in complex brain and spine operations. This training was done in part by the neurosurgeons comprising the Neurosurgical Group of Texas who asked Dr. Gist to join their practice after completion of his residency. He was then promoted to full partner in the practice within one year. Dr. Gist treats a variety of neurosurgical conditions including low back pain, sciatica, radiculopathy, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, disk herniations, scoliosis, complex spinal deformities, spinal fractures, brain and spine tumors, trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm, carpal tunnel syndrome, and Chiari malformations.     Dr. Loyola V. Gressot is a board certified neurosurgeon licensed in the state of Texas. She was born in Geneva, Switzerland and raised in Houston, Texas. She is bilingual in English and French. She attended Rice University in Houston where she studied biochemistry and molecular biology, graduated Summa Cum Laude, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. During this time, she became a licensed paramedic in the state of Texas and worked part-time on an ambulance providing emergency medical services for 5 years. Dr. Gressot then attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, was induced into the Gold Humanism honor society, and graduated with the highest honors as the valedictorian. Dr. Gressot completed her neurosurgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine. She conducted brain tumor lab research and was granted the prestigious Preuss Award from the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. During her residency, she served as the neurosurgery chief resident at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Ben Taub General Hospital and Baylor St. Luke’s Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in complex neurosurgical conditions.     Dr. Jonathan N. Sellin is a board eligible neurosurgeon licensed in the state of Texas. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas where he attended the Kinkaid School. He studied English at Columbia University in New York where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He then attended medical school at New York University School of Medicine where he developed his interest in neurological surgery. Dr. Sellin completed his neurosurgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He conducted research in spinal oncology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. During his residency, he served as the neurosurgery chief resident at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Ben Taub General Hospital and Baylor St. Luke’s Hospital. He received advanced training at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, completing a fellowship in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery in the Department of Neurological Surgery. As both a resident and fellow, Dr. Sellin has gained extensive experience in cranial microsurgery, cerebrovascular surgery, neurosurgical oncology, and complex spine surgery.
