  • Esteban G. Garza, DDS


    Dr. Esteban Garza was born in the Rio Grande Valley and raised in the Cypress, Texas. He completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M in Biology, and was a teacher for Spring Branch ISD before becoming a dentist. Dr. Garza graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. He pursued further education at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in which he completed his General Practice Residency. As part of his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Garza has taken over 800 hours of continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, pediatrics, endodontics, restorative, oral surgery, orthodontics, implant and sedation dentistry. He was awarded the prestigious Fellowship Award in the Academy of General Dentistry in Boston, Mass. July of 2016. An award less than 10% of dentists have. He is currently working on his Mastership for the Academy of General Dentistry. He hopes to complete that by 2019 and receive his award in 2020. Dr. Garza is compassionate and enjoys serving his community through general dentistry. He meets each patient where they are and focuses on individualized care. In his personal life, Dr. Garza and his wife, Dr. Amanda Garza, have three beautiful children. He comes from a family of dentists. His brother an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon that works part time at the practice. His sister is a general dentist in Shreveport, La. Dr. Garza has traveled all across the globe for dental missions. He has a special heart for Ecuador due to his mother being from there. He also enjoys playing tennis, lifting weights, reading, and constantly learning. You can usually find him at Orange Theory or Barnes and Noble.

  • Amanda L. Garza, DDS


    Dr. Amanda Garza was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Garza graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. She pursued further education at Baylor College of Dentistry, completing her Advanced Education in General Dentistry. She enjoys cosmetic dentistry, pediatrics, endodontics, restorative, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Dr. Garza is passionate about patient education and preventative dentistry. She has a calming presence and a big heart. In her personal life, Dr. Garza and her husband, Dr. Esteban Garza, have three beautiful children. Dr. Garza has traveled to Mexico and Guatemala for dental missions. She enjoys spending time with other mothers in her community and serving at her local church, Bayou City Fellowship. Dr. Garza loves living in Houston and caring for her patients.

  • Rudy O. Garza, DDS, MD

    Oral Surgeon

    We are pleased to welcome Rodolfo (Rudy) O. Garza, DDS, MD to Champions Dental. Dr. Garza attended Texas A&M Health Science Center, Baylor College of Dentistry to obtain a DDS degree; The University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center for a Certificate in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Certificate in General Surgery, Trained at Level 1 Trauma Center; and McGovern Medical School to complete his medical degree. Dr. Garza received some awards during his years in dental school such as: Distinguished achievement in Oral Surgery as a senior student given by the Southwest Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Outstanding student leader award given by American College of Dentists. Dr. Garza enjoys spending time with his wife and his daughter. He is very close to his brother and sister, which both practice dentistry. He loves to play tennis, which he played in college for NCAA Division I Tennis programs.

    At Champions Dental we offer the full spectrum of sedation dentistry options to support our general, restorative and cosmetic dental treatment services, such as: Oral Conscious Sedation A combination of medications are taken an hour before coming to our office. A companion of your choice then drives you to and from our office. You arrive in a relaxed and drowsy state. From this point on, a member of our family dentistry team is always with you, and your vital signs are monitored during your visit. You are released from your treatment minutes after completion. Your dental visit will be part of a comfortable and easy day. IV Sedation Our in house Oral Surgeon provides general anesthesia through IV Sedation. The patient is rendered unconscious for the period of time during the treatment. Nitrous Oxide Often referred to as laughing gas, is an effective anesthetic that has many benefits for patients seeking relaxed dental treatments. The gas is administered with a comfortable mask placed over the nose, and the patient is instructed to breathe in through the nose. After treatment, the patient is given pure oxygen to breathe for about five minutes. All effects are reversed allowing the patient to drive home without an escort.
