Dr. Bloome, a native Houstonian, graduated from St. John’s School where he excelled in academics and athletics, and was also an accomplished drummer. He ran track at Emory University where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. After medical school at the University of Texas—Southwestern in Dallas, and residency at the University of New Mexico, he came back to Houston to make it his home again. His proudest accomplishment in life, however, is his family – his beautiful wife and three children. In his spare time, he can be found coaching their sports teams or taking them fishing. David M.
