Clay S. Conrad

Clay Conrad graduated cum laude from college (Franklin-Pierce College in Rindge, New Hampshire) and law school (University of Texas School of Law). But that's not the reason Paul Looney says Clay is the smartest man he knows. "If you have to have somebody at a computer trying to figure out how to win a case, there isn't anybody else I want at my computer." Bringing over 16 years of appellate, pre-trial litigation and State and Federal criminal defense and related litigation to his clients in Houston, throughout the state of Texas and many states across the nation, Clay represents individuals from all walks of life and all types of social, cultural and financial backgrounds. His experience includes both white-collar and blue-collar cases ranging from State misdemeanors to Federal felonies. Richard Senasac

Richard Senasac is a mild mannered attorney, practicing civil law in our offices by day and smoking premium cigars by night. A graduate of Stephen F Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas, Richard received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center in 1985. Born in Arcadia, California in the hospital across the street from the Santa Anita Race Track, Richard’s pediatrician said, "[He} must have been vaccinated with a phonograph needle explaining his love of gab even from an early age." Richard is President Emeritus of the Gentleman's Law Association at the University of Houston. He is Past President and Secretary of the Waller County Bar Association and a member of the Waller County Law Library Committee. Richard is President of the Waller County Historical Society, Chairman of the Waller County Historical Commission and Former Chairman of the Waller County Clock Tower Project. Martial Arts and Tai Chi are two of Richard's hobbies. He is a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, an international organization devoted to the study and recreation of the Middle Ages. Richard has written for Tri Tac games and enjoys Role-Playing Games (RPGs) such as Dungeons & Dragons. As a writer, Richard has published articles on spirits and wines and cigars. Carbett Trey J. Duhon III

Carbett "Trey" J. Duhon III, was raised in Fort Bend County, Texas. He graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University in 1992 with a B.S. in economics and obtained his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 1995. After law school, Trey began his legal career with Love & Associates in Fort Bend County, where he practiced from 1995-2005. Both sides of Trey's family originate from Abbeville, Louisiana, where Trey's grandfather Carbett Duhon, Sr. was a councilman for 21 years before his passing in 2011. Noah Johnson

Noah Johnson graduated cum laude on the Dean’s Honor Roll in 2014 from the University of Oklahoma (OU) School of Law and served as a Superior Court Justice for the OU Student Government Association. Licensed to practice law in both Oklahoma and Texas, Noah has significant litigation experience. He served as a prosecutor in Waller County from 2015 to 2018, litigating felony and misdemeanor cases. Noah has argued hundreds of motions, hearings and trials in front of judges and juries and has never lost a case Working as a land man for Chesapeake Energy and Halcon Resources, Noah brings his knowledge of property, probate, contract and oil & gas law to our law firm. Wade B. Smith

Raised in Cypress, Texas, Wade is a native of the Houston area and is a graduate of Cy-Fair High School. While in high school, Wade excelled as an athlete for the cross-country and track teams and also participated in the school’s first-ever ‘Student Court’ defending his fellow classmates. Wade went on to attend Texas Tech University and continued his running career with Texas Tech’s cross-country and track teams. As a student-athlete, Wade pursued a degree in political science and minored in history. After graduating from Texas Tech, Wade returned to Houston to study law at South Texas College of Law. There, he focused his studies on criminal law and trial advocacy, and held internships with the 9th District Court in Montgomery County as a briefing attorney for the judge, and also with the Harris County Public Defender’s Office. After a second stint as an intern for the Harris County Public Defender’s office and passing the Bar Exam, Wade hung out his shingle and began his law practice, focusing on criminal defense. Cynthia is the Senior Administrative Assistant/Paralegal for our law offices where she manages both offices in Hempstead and Houston. She also handles our finances. Roxanne Avery

Roxanne assists in preparing cases for trial by interviewing witnesses and investigating cases including Twin Peaks in Waco Texas on May 17, 2015 where nine people died, 22 severely injured and 177 arrested and indicted on $1 million bonds. She became the “go to” person for lawyers and international media as she outlined nine terabytes of discovery from the District Attorney’s office. Nearly four years later, every case was dismissed with no convictions. Coordination of witnesses and organizing documents to help trials run smoothly is what Roxanne excels at. She has assisted Looney, Smith & Conrad in winning jury trials where her typing skills produce a quasi-transcript at the end of each day. Through extensive research and investigation, Roxanne has helped cases be favorably resolved and not go to trial. Roxanne publishes legal columns in newspapers, websites and social media and handles brand strategy and social media as well as analytical systems for marketing statistics. Specializing in building complex websites, Roxanne utilizes HTML code and continuously updates them through content research and original writing. Brent Liedtke

Brent Liedtke has a tremendous amount of legal knowledge literally spanning several decades. His interest in the law with legal cases and clients intrigue him as he "finds a way". When it appears there is not a positive solution, Brent "finds a way." Brent has two adult children, Jason and Dawn and the newest addition to his family is grandson Landon Bell. In his spare time, Brent enjoys riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, fishing and hanging out with friends and family.

Celine Lozano

Celine is a junior at Prairie View A&M University where she is studying for her Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. Upon graduation, she plans to attend Thurgood Marshall to become an attorney. Celine has been working in the Hempstead law offices of Looney, Smith & Conrad, P.C. since 2014. In her spare time, Celine enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and reading books. She is also a dog mom to her Siberian Husky, Thor.

Erika Zamora

Erika Zamora is a local resident of Hempstead where she grew up and graduated at The Senior High. She is a loving wife, devoted mother of three young boys and enjoys spending her free time with family activities. On Sundays, Erika attends Community of Faith church in Cypress, TX and loves watching the Houston Texans. Erika is a notary public, certified paralegal and legal secretary in our Houston Office.
