Robert and Jiena are the dedicated owners of The Goddard School in the Energy Corridor. Robert has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Jiena has a Master’s degree in Music Composition. They have two sons Ian and Carson, and a daughter Zoe who is currently attending the school. They live in a nearby neighborhood and wanted to bring a quality preschool to their area. Ms. Mabel has worked in childcare for over 20 years. She chose this career because she loves children and enjoys helping them grow and learn. She has two children of her own who were raised surrounded by early childhood education and educators. One of her favorite quotes is, “Every child is a different kind of flower, and together, they make this world a beautiful garden.” Her favorite book to share with children is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
Ms. Arriel is a dedicated Pre-K teacher who loves guiding young children as they explore, learn, and grow. She has one son, who inspires her every day to create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment. Ms. Arriel enjoys fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child she teaches.
Ms. Graciela, originally from Venezuela, has been a dedicated member of our school for over 12 years. With a background in preschool teaching and daycare ownership, she brings a wealth of experience to our Infant classroom. She holds an Associate degree in Computer Applications and is currently pursuing her CDA credential. Ms. Graciela enjoys sharing her Spanish language skills with the children and believes early exposure to languages is valuable. Outside of Goddard, she volunteers in the infant room at a local church and feels honored to support your child’s growth.
Ms. Neysa is the Lead Teacher in the Preschool I classroom and brings over 30 years of experience in early childhood education. She has been a valued member of our school for over 7 years and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children. In her free time, Ms. Neysa enjoys sketching, painting, writing poetry, and shopping. Her favorite children’s book is Where the Wild Things Are, a timeless story that sparks imagination and creativity.
Ms. Precious is our Pre-kindergarten Lead teacher. She believes that as a teacher it is necessary to set good examples for the children in our care. Ms. Precious believes that it is immensely important to have patience, when teaching little children as each child is different and no child deserves to be left out.
Mrs. Carolina is our school-age teacher with a lifelong passion for childcare. She the mom of three adult children. She loves reading with her students, and one of her favorite books is Are You My Mother?
Ms. Jay’sea is our assistant teacher, helping care for children in our Infant through Preschool Prep classrooms. She is passionate about early childhood education and is currently pursuing a college degree to achieve her career goals in the field. She loves connecting with children and inspiring their curiosity. One of her favorite quotes is, “Children don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Her favorite book to share with children is Where the Wild Things Are.
Ms. Kamara is the Lead Teacher in the Preschool II classroom and brings over eight years of experience working with young children. She is passionate about early childhood education and finds joy in watching her students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. She is excited to spend another year making lasting memories with her class. In her free time, Ms. Kamara enjoys spending time with her daughter and trying new foods. Her favorite children’s book is The Little Engine That Could, which inspires perseverance and a positive mindset—values she encourages in her classroom every day.
Mrs. Rosa is the Assistant Teacher in the Infant classroom and brings over 25 years of experience working with young children. She has a deep love for early childhood education and finds great joy in caring for infants and watching them grow and develop during their earliest stages. This year, she is especially excited to nurture new babies and support their families through this important time. In her free time, Mrs. Rosa enjoys exercising. Her favorite children’s book is Who I Am, which celebrates identity and self-worth—values she aims to instill from the very beginning.
Ms. Yamel is our assistant teacher, helping out in all classrooms. She has always loved children and comes from a big, loving family. She is currently pursuing a career as a sonographer while continuing to inspire and care for the children in our school. One of her favorite quotes is, “Children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and encouraged.” Her favorite children’s book to share is Llama Llama Misses Mama.
Ms. Betty M! I am an Assistant Teacher. I love Early Childhood Education because I love working with children with all of my heart. I have dedicated over 14 years to working with children. I am most excited to continue to teach my kids spanish this year. I enjoy singing, shopping and staying home with my kids in my free time. My favorite children's book is "The Hungry Caterpillar".
Mrs. Ella is our school chef and has been cooking for children for close to 15 years. She is a wife, a mother of two, and a loving grandmother. Over the years, she has obtained her Food Manager's Certificate. Her hobbies include her love for cooking, reading, and skating. Mrs. Ella prides herself on making the most nutritious meal for children that will put a smile on their faces, as well as their tummies.
