• Ms. Mary Ann Villarreal

Ms. Mary Ann is very passionate about partnering with her families to provide the best early learning environment for their children. She believes that every child deserves the best. Ms. Mary Ann looks forward to working with children and helping them learn and grow each and every day. She has successfully led her Teachers to gain recognition as a Nationally Accredited Program through NAC. Ms. Mary Ann is very proud of this achievement, which allows her center to provide a much higher quality early childhood education program. In 2000, Ms. Mary Ann was awarded KinderCare Center Director of the Year. She serves as a Quality Lead Trainer for KinderCare and spends time training and developing Teachers and Center Directors for KinderCare.

 • Ms. Shernera

Ms. Shernera's goal is to encourage children to express individuality through artistic exploration and creativity. She helps infants learn to engage with others by talking with them; communicating through non-verbal gestures; telling stories and singing songs to model conversational skills; and using picture books to build associations between sounds, objects, and words. Ms. Shernera also helps infants improve mobility and coordination by supporting babies as they roll from side to side and learn to crawl, stand, and walk; and by supporting the development of motor skills with blocks and shape boards. She also ensures that she meets all children's individual needs for rest and nutrition.

 • Ms. Zory

Ms. Zory's goal is to create a safe, nurturing “home away from home” where children can learn to express themselves and understand their own unique identities. She fills each day with fun activities that balance playtime, nurturing, and learning. Communication is important to Ms. Zory, so families in her classroom receive regular teacher-family communication, including daily updates, monthly newsletters, and scheduled parent/teacher conferences. She looks forward to getting to know you and your family!

 • Ms. Tina

Ms. Tina's goal is to provide a positive environment where language and literacy development will flourish. She believes that when children feel secure in their environment, they are more likely to engage in frequent, age-appropriate conversations that inherently build vocabulary and social skills. Ms. Tina works with children individually, in small groups, and as a whole group at different times during the day. She displays the children's original artwork, their own writing with invented spelling, and stories dictated by the children during our afternoon group time. She also sends home children’s work in their portfolios and take-home folders. Ms. Tina uses lacing cards, stencils, and writing activities to help children enhance their fine-motor skills; and uses running, jumping, and throwing activities to help children strengthen their coordination and gross-motor skills. Ms. Tina offers children healthful food choices for snacks and meals, while also helping children learn that what we eat is important, and that our bodies need the right amount of exercise and nutrition to stay healthy.

 • Ms. Rebecca

Ms. Rebecca's goal is to provide a literacy-rich classroom with plenty of opportunities for children to explore books and writing. As a leader in early childhood education, KinderCare knows that one of the best predictors of a successful reader is the amount of time a child spends reading--so Ms. Rebecca uses daily journal activities to practice writing skills; helps foster early reading skills by connecting sounds to letters through picture and word collages; teaches basic sight words in fun and engaging ways; and encourages the development of phonemic awareness through literacy-based games, books, and puzzles. Children in her class build brain power while making new friends and learning valuable social skills to set them up for success in elementary school.
