Syed Jafri , MD

Syed Jafri, MD, is a fellowship-trained oncologist and hematologist. He embraces whole-person medicine to treat the mind, body, and soul. He feels it’s important to improve his patients’ health, not only by treating their diseases but also by educating them about their illnesses, explaining the benefits and risks of treatment, providing evidence-based treatment using the latest scientific knowledge, and empowering them ting take charge of their own well-being. Jafri is also a professor of oncology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. A resident of Harris County, Jafri is married and the father of one young child. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, spending time with his family, and traveling.
