Steven Capece, MD, a double-board certified surgeon at Kelsey-Seybold, attended the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine at Galveston, Texas, earning his medical degree in 2019. After graduating, he completed the General Surgery residency program at Lehigh Valley Health Network in 2024. Dr. Capece then completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery in 2025 at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2025. Dr. Capece specializes in the surgical treatment of conditions of the colon and rectum, including colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, anal fistulae, and other complex anorectal disease.
