Kabir Husain, DO, is a board-certified physician who attended Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado, earning his medical degree in 2019. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2022 at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport. Dr. Husain remained there to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2025. He joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Gastroenterology department in September 2025. As a gastroenterologist, he cares for patients with a wide range of digestive health concerns, including GERD, liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, IBS, and more. Dr. Husain especially enjoys performing screening colonoscopies for colon cancer as well as upper endoscopies.
