Shelley S. Varnado, MD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Child and Adolescent Neurology with McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She attended medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans. She then completed her residency in child neurology at New York University School of Medicine, and her fellowship in pediatric epilepsy at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Varnado’s areas of interest include intractable pediatric epilepsy, epilepsy surgery, tuberous sclerosis, neuromodulation, and magnetoencephalography.
