Nesreen S. Ibrahim, MD, is board-certified and fellowship-trained in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. She has extensive experience in several clinical areas of psychiatry, including autism, developmental delays, ADHD, mood, and psychotic disorders. Ibrahim is an assistant professor in the Louis A. Faillace, MD, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where she’s passionate about teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows at all levels. She is also the medical director for Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital consult and liaison services. Ibrahim earned her medical degree from the University of Alexandria in 1995. She then completed a general psychiatry residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2006 and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship program at Allegheny Health Network in 2008. She is a delegate to the Harris County Medical Society Delegation to the Texas Medical Association House of Delegates. She’s also an expert panelist on the Texas Medical Board.
