Marc F. Catalano, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist, an internationally recognized medical expert, and a research pioneer in pancreatic biliary endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, and endoscopic suturing. He treats patients 14 years and older. Catalano is a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He has authored over 400 published articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a frequent lecturer at national and international seminars and conferences. Outside of work, Catalano enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, sports, traveling, listening to music, and going to the theater.
