Zhen “Jane” Huang, MD, MBA, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric otorhinolaryngologist diagnosing, treating, and managing nose, ear, throat, and head and neck diseases. Her clinical interests include chronic ear disorders, congenital neck masses, hearing loss, voice disorders, and sleep-related breathing conditions. She’s also an associate professor of otorhinolaryngology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Huang was born in southern China and moved to Dallas when she was 7. She received her medical degree in 2010 from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire, where she received the Dr. Hampers Leaders in Healthcare Scholarship. She interned as a consultant for a biomedical firm, and in her spare time, she also volunteered for a free community clinic and was a dance instructor. She also has taught English in China and conducted art workshops for high school students in the Navajo Nation. After spending almost a decade in New England, she returned to Texas and completed her residency in 2015 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. In 2016, Huang finished her fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Not only has she published articles in multiple peer-reviewed journals and presented at national meetings for her specialty, but she also has a strong interest in improving health care delivery and population health.
