Alisina Shahi, MD, PhD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult joint reconstruction. He is dedicated to providing patient-centered orthopedic care, focusing on treatments tailored to each individual’s needs and lifestyle. With a meticulous and evidence-based approach, Shahi offers advanced techniques like robotic-assisted surgery and dual mobility bearings for complex hip and knee cases, optimizing mobility and long-term outcomes. Believing in a collaborative care model, he works closely with a team of specialists to ensure seamless, holistic care from diagnosis through recovery. Shahi received his degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science School of Medicine in 2012. He completed his internship at Marshall University in 2018 and his residency training at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in 2023. He completed fellowship training in reconstructive orthopedic surgery at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center Houston in 2024. He mentors and guides others in professional settings and keeps up with advancements in orthopedic research and technology. Outside of work, Shahi enjoys traveling and exploring diverse cultures, cycling for relaxation and fitness, watching action-packed or humorous movies, baking and cooking with family, and assisting underserved communities.
