Konstantinos Charitakis, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist specializing in cardiovascular disease, angioplasty, and stenting. His clinical expertise extends from the performance of complex coronary interventions to endovascular treatment of peripheral disease. He’s certified in nuclear cardiology, which uses noninvasive techniques to assess heart conditions and function, and he offers second opinions for cardiovascular conditions. Charitakis is an associate professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He’s committed to training the next generation of interventional cardiologists and teaches medical students and residents on all levels.
