Jaya Kala, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained nephrologist treating adult patients. Her areas of interest include onco-nephrology, kidney diseases, hypertension, and acute kidney injury in cancer patients. She and her staff work in coordination with each person’s oncologist to ensure the best possible results and help improve kidney health. They strive to provide prompt service and compassionate, personalized care. Kala is also an associate professor of renal diseases at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Outside of work, Kala enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
