Joshua A Samuels , MD

Description

Joshua A. Samuels, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained nephrologist treating children and adults with acute and chronic kidney diseases and hypertension.  He’s also a professor of pediatrics and chief of the Division of Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.   Samuels completed a combined adult and pediatric nephrology fellowship at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston in 2003 and has remained on faculty ever since. His academic appointment includes clinical care, clinical research, and academic teaching.  He is board-certified in general pediatrics, nephrology, and pediatric nephrology. He is also a certified specialist in clinical hypertension. With both clinical and research interests in the field of kidney diseases and hypertension, Samuels cherishes treating both children and adults.
