Description
Neethu Menon, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric hematology/oncology specialist. She treats a variety of blood disorders in children and young women. She’s an associate professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and the founder and director of the Young Women’s Bleeding Disorders program at UTHealth Houston for the management of heavy menstrual bleeding and associated comorbidities. She is also the hematology representative of UTHealth Houston’s Vascular Anomalies Program for the treatment of patients with sirolimus. Menon has presented and published case reports and original research articles on various hematology topics, including sickle cell anemia, thrombosis, bleeding disorders, and vascular anomalies. Menon received her degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in 2006. She completed her residency in pediatrics there in 2010 before going on to complete another residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 2015. She completed her fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2018. Outside of work, she enjoys music and yoga.
