Pediatrics Houston
Kimberly C. Smith, MD, MPH, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatrician providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients who range in age from from birth to 18 years old. In addition to general pediatrics, she specializes in diagnosing and treating pediatric tuberculosis. She’s also a professor in the Department of Pediatrics at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics. She is also the director of the pediatric tuberculosis programs at UTHealth Houston. Smith has received several awards throughout her career including an Award of Appreciation for her work in tuberculosis from the City of Houston and Harris County Health Departments. She’s a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Pediatric Association. Outside of work, Smith enjoys spending time with her family, the arts, traveling, reading, cooking, exploring the Houston food scene, scuba diving, and exercising through yoga or hiking.
