Dr. Bhimaraj earned his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He worked for the World bank on a Public health project on urban poverty and then attended a Master of Public Health program at The University of Kansas Medical center, Kansas City. He then completed his residency at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia followed by a General Cardiology fellowship at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. He then finished his sub-specialty training in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic. Dr.
