She attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University to earn her medical degree and completed her family medicine residency at McAllen Listening to her patients' stories is Dr. Ayala's favorite aspect of serving as a medical doctor. She currently lives in Houston, Texas, where she enjoys cooking and exercising in her spare time. She has two children.
